The colorful lights of Kralendijk’s nightlife reflect on the Caribbean Sea on a windless night. This picture was taken from the north pier not so long ago, yet so much has changed since then. The little market on the right has been restored in its former glory and is in full use again for fresh fruits and vegetables from Venezuela. But behind that, the City Café has closed and has been demolished. On the left, Karel’s, glows in the dark. Little divides the islanders as much as what should happen to this waterfront. Some want more excitement, others want it to remain unchanged. At We Share Bonaire, we do not take sides. We just want to share the beauty that is our capital on this wonderful night. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and share it with us.
