On the road south around the salt flats lies Pink Beach. Although nature has temporarily swept away some of its former splendor, it is still a place of breathtaking beauty. The pristine sand which once shone with a distinct pink glow is now evenly dispersed over the bottom of the crystal clear water, turning the shallows a stunning shade of blue. On nights when the full moon shines through the surface of the ocean, you may see lemon sharks emerge from their daytime hideouts and swim right up to the beach. And if you are very lucky during the day, dolphins may invite you in for a swim as they pass by this magnificent shore.
